Melbourne: Feb 8-11

First stop was Melbourne, a nice city a lot bigger than Georgetown but so much better than Toronto! I went to the Sea Life Aquarium, to the Botanical Gardens, to the Queen Victoria Market, to St. Kilda beach, to the Melbourne NOW art exhibit, on a tourist tram that went around a large chunk of the city and even to a bar in the middle of the river! And yes, the tan is coming along nicely :)

Queen Victoria Market
(It is about 5 times the size of St. Jacobs Market!)

The Australian War Memorial that we stumbled upon while looking for the Botanical Gardens

The Melbourne Aquarium

that's right, I held a starfish!

St. Kilda Beach

Apparently public drinking during the day is acceptable though?

    1. Its so pretty!! There's a place I came across yesterday where the penguins hide during the day and if you're there at sunset you can see then crawling out of the rocks for the night! It made me think of you! I had to meet my group so I couldn't stay for sunset but that seem like a good excuse to come back :)
